How should a voltage regulator be connected when using a generator on the grid?

Generator
In systems where a generator is used, the voltage regulator must be connected before the generator.
If it is necessary to operate the voltage regulator after the generator, it should be remembered that generators with a power of less than 300kVA produce unstable voltage and frequency.

When using a generator in the circuit
When using a generator, the generator must be connected after the voltage stabilizer as shown in the figure.
If it is necessary to operate the voltage regulator after the generator, it should be remembered that generators with a power of less than 300kVA may produce unstable voltage and frequency. To ensure compatibility between the voltage regulator and the generator, the "generator" parameter is taken into account within the regulator.
When the frequency of the voltage supplied to the regulator is outside the following values, the system detects the generator's operating status:
Less than 48.9Hz
Greater than 51.1Hz
Less than 58.9Hz
Greater than 61.1Hz
The regulator automatically activates the "generator before regulator" parameter, which reduces the response speed by 10 times. This changes the voltage correction time from 20ms to 200ms. That is, the response speed changes from 0.02 seconds to 0.2 seconds.
The purpose of this is to give the generator more time to correct its voltage. Otherwise, the generator may be forced to stop due to insufficient performance. Since the generator's response time is not sufficient for the static control unit, the regulator's speed is intentionally reduced. The user does not notice this change.
If the frequency of the voltage supplied to the regulator is not within the range of 45Hz to 65Hz, the device automatically disconnects the load from the circuit.
