ENERJİTEM 10kVA IP42 Boxed Isolation Transformer, Input 400Vac / Output 400Vac

The ENERJİTEM 10kVA IP42 Boxed Isolation Transformer, Input 400Vac / Output 400Vac, is a medium to high-capacity electrical safety device. Unlike previous 6kVA models, this upgraded 10kVA unit provides 66% higher power capacity, allowing it to handle heavier industrial loads.

This transformer provides complete galvanic isolation between a 400V three-phase source and 400V operated equipment, protecting systems from electrical noise, voltage surges, and electric shock hazards.

Advantages of Upgrading to 10kVA Capacity

Higher Load Capacity: Supports larger industrial machinery, multiple smaller machines simultaneously, or high-consumption medical and IT systems.

Increased Thermal Margin: Operating a 10kVA transformer at lower loads, such as 6 to 7kVA, causes the unit to run at a lower temperature, extending its overall operational life.

Reduced Inrush Current Impact: The larger magnetic core handles high inrush currents generated by large electric motors or compressors without tripping main circuit breakers.

IP42 Box Enclosure Engineering

Protection Against Solid Particles: The metal cabinet prevents objects larger than 1.0 mm, such as loose wires, metal filings, or insects, from contacting internal live terminals.

Water Droplet Protection: The IP42 rating protects internal windings from vertically falling or angled water droplets up to 15 degrees, common in facilities with overhead AC units or plumbing.

Operator Safety: The grounded enclosure fully isolates hazardous 400V connections, protecting personnel from accidental contact or arc flash injuries.

Key Use Cases

With its 10kVA capacity and 1:1 voltage ratio (400V to 400V), this unit is ideal for heavy-duty and electrically noisy applications.

Industrial Automation and CNC Machines: Used to power large three-phase CNC machines, heavy robotic arms, and factory automation lines sensitive to grid voltage surges.

Data Centers and Large UPS Systems: Isolates high-capacity UPS systems and network distribution systems from common-mode electrical noise.

Medical Diagnostic Departments: Provides clean, low-leakage power for sensitive medical imaging equipment such as CT scanners, X-ray machines, and laboratory analysis devices.

Marine and Shore Power Applications: Protects shipboard electrical distribution networks from shore-side ground faults and galvanic corrosion during docking.
