ENERJİTEM Three-Phase Rectifier, Battery Charger, with 380 VAC Input Voltage / 48 VDC Output Voltage, 100 Ah

A transformer rectifier, often known as a TR unit or TRU, is an electrical device that converts alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) while regulating the voltage level. It combines two distinct electrical components into one integrated system to deliver stable DC power from a standard AC grid.

Key Components

Transformer: Changes the incoming AC voltage level, either stepping it up or down.

Rectifier: Converts the modified AC power into DC power.

Filtering System: Smooths out ripples to provide clean, stable DC.

Control Unit: Regulates the output voltage or current as needed.

How it Works

Voltage Conversion: High-voltage AC from the grid enters the transformer's primary winding. The transformer then steps this voltage down or up to the specific level required for the application.

Rectification: The modified AC power then goes to the rectifier circuit, which typically uses solid-state diodes or thyristors. These components act as one-way valves, allowing current to flow in only one direction, thereby converting AC to pulsating DC.

Filtering: The pulsating DC then passes through capacitors and inductors. This process smooths out the electrical peaks and troughs, resulting in a stable, continuous DC output.

Common Applications

Cathodic Protection: Prevents corrosion in buried pipelines, storage tanks, and marine structures.

Aviation: Converts aircraft power from 115 VAC to 28 VDC to operate onboard electronics.

Industrial Electroplating: Provides the high-current, low-voltage DC necessary for metal plating.

Mining and Submarine Cables: Powers heavy industrial equipment that requires dedicated DC sources.

Note: All our battery chargers come with a 2-year warranty. Spare parts are guaranteed for 10 years. Special optional products can be produced upon request.
