ENERJİTEM Single-Phase Rectifier, Battery Charger, 220 VAC Input / 24 VDC Output, 100 Ah

A transformer rectifier, often referred to as a TR or TRU unit, is an electrical device that converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) while adjusting the voltage level. It combines two distinct electrical components within a single integrated system to provide stable DC power from a standard AC mains supply.

Main Components

Transformer: Alters the incoming AC voltage level, either stepping it up or down.

Rectifier: Converts the modified AC power into DC power.

Filtering System: Smooths out ripples to provide a clean and stable DC current.

Controller: Regulates the output voltage or current as needed.

How it Works

Voltage Conversion: High-voltage AC from the mains enters the primary winding of the transformer. The transformer steps this voltage down or up to the specific level required for the application.

Rectification: The modified AC power then passes into the rectifier circuit, which typically uses solid-state diodes or thyristors. These components act as one-way valves, allowing current to flow in only one direction, thereby converting the AC into pulsating DC.

Filtering: The pulsating DC then passes through capacitors and inductors. This process smooths out the electrical peaks and troughs, resulting in a stable, continuous DC output.

Common Applications

Cathodic Protection: Prevents corrosion in buried pipelines, storage tanks, and offshore structures.

Aviation: Converts aircraft power from 115 VAC to 28 VDC for onboard electronics.

Industrial Electroplating: Provides the high-current, low-voltage DC required for metal plating.

Mining and Submarine Cables: Powers heavy industrial equipment that requires dedicated DC sources.

Note: All our battery chargers come with a 2-year warranty. Spare parts are guaranteed for 10 years. Special optional products can be produced upon request.
