How should the regulator be connected when using a generator on the network?

In systems where a generator is used, the voltage regulator must be connected before the generator.
If the regulator must be operated after the generator, it should be remembered that generators with a capacity of less than 300kVA produce an unstable voltage and frequency.

When using a voltage generator, the generator should be connected after the voltage stabilizer as shown in the figure.
If the regulator must be operated after the generator, it should be remembered that generators with a capacity of less than 300 kVA produce an unstable voltage and frequency. To ensure compatibility between the regulator and the generator, the "Generator" parameter is taken into account in the regulator. Frequency of voltage supplied to the regulator-

The regulator automatically activates the “Generator ahead of the regulator” parameter, which reduces the response time by 10 times. Thus, the voltage correction will change from 20 ms to 200 ms. This means the speed will change from 0.02 seconds to 0.2 seconds. The goal is to give the generator more time to correct its voltage. Otherwise, the generator may be forced to shut down due to lack of performance. Since the response time of the generator is not enough for the static controller, we will consciously reduce the governor speed. The user does not notice this.
If the frequency of the voltage supplied to the regulator is not within the range of 45 ... 65 Hz, the device automatically disconnects the load from the circuit.
