ENERJİTEM Three-Phase Rectifier, Battery Charger, with Input Voltage 380 VAC / Output Voltage 12 VDC, 100 Ah

A transformer rectifier, often referred to as a TR or TRU unit, is an electrical device that converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) while adjusting the voltage level. It combines two distinct electrical components into one integrated system to deliver stable DC power from a standard AC grid.

Key Components

Transformer: Changes the level of the incoming AC voltage, either stepping it up or down.

Rectifier: Converts the modified AC power into DC power.

Filtering System: Reduces ripples to provide clean and stable DC.

Control Unit: Regulates the output voltage or current as needed.

Working Mechanism

Voltage Conversion: High-voltage AC from the grid enters the transformer's primary coil. The transformer steps this voltage down or up to the specific level required for the application.

Rectification: The modified AC power then goes to the rectifier circuit, typically utilizing solid-state diodes or thyristors. These components act as one-way valves, allowing current to flow in only one direction, thus converting the AC into pulsating DC.

Filtering: The pulsating DC passes through capacitors and inductors. This process smooths out the electrical peaks and troughs, resulting in a stable, continuous DC output.

Common Applications

Cathodic Protection: Prevents corrosion in buried pipelines, storage tanks, and offshore structures.

Aviation: Converts aircraft power from 115 VAC to 28 VDC for onboard electronics.

Industrial Electroplating: Provides the high-current, low-voltage DC required for metal plating.

Mining and Submarine Cables: Powers heavy industrial equipment that requires dedicated DC sources.

Note: All our battery chargers come with a two-year warranty. Additionally, spare parts availability is guaranteed for 10 years. Special optional products can be produced upon request.
