What is it?
The ENERJİTEM 40kVA, 480Vac Input / 208Vac Output Three-Phase Isolation Transformer is a specialized and heavy-duty industrial device dedicated to power conditioning and voltage transformation, manufactured by ENERJİTEM. This transformer performs two primary functions simultaneously: it provides complete galvanic isolation and significantly steps down the voltage level.
Engineered with a specific and high-capacity winding ratio, it accepts a 480V high-voltage three-phase AC input and reduces it to a 208V North American standard low-voltage three-phase output. As its primary and secondary copper windings are physically separated, power is transferred solely through electromagnetic induction.
This design eliminates any direct electrical connection between the grid and the load, making it a heavy-duty industrial filter against severe power quality issues, while also fulfilling the precise voltage requirements for large-scale specialized machinery.
Where is it used?
This transformer is primarily used in industrial environments that operate on a 480V three-phase grid and need to power high-capacity commercial or industrial equipment designed for 208V North American standard three-phase systems.
