ENERJİTEM Single-Phase Rectifier, Battery Charger, 220 VAC Input / 24 VDC Output, 25 Ah

A rectifier, often known as a Transformer Rectifier unit or TRU, is an electrical device that converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) while also adjusting the voltage level. It combines two distinct electrical components into a single integrated system to provide stable DC power from a standard AC grid.

Key Components

Transformer: Alters the incoming AC voltage level, either stepping it up or down.

Rectifier: Converts the modified AC power into DC power.

Filtering System: Reduces ripples to provide clean and stable DC.

Control Unit: Regulates the output voltage or current as needed.

How It Works

Voltage Conversion: High-voltage AC from the grid enters the transformer’s primary winding. The transformer steps this voltage down or up to the specific level required for the application.

Rectification: The modified AC power passes into a rectifier circuit, typically utilizing solid-state diodes or thyristors. These components act as one-way valves, allowing current to flow in only one direction, which converts the AC into pulsating DC.

Filtering: The pulsating DC then flows through capacitors and inductors. This process smooths out the electrical peaks and troughs, resulting in a stable and continuous DC output.

Common Applications

Cathodic Protection: Prevents corrosion in buried pipelines, storage tanks, and marine structures.

Aviation: Converts aircraft power from 115 VAC to 28 VDC for onboard electronics.

Industrial Electroplating: Provides the high-current, low-voltage DC necessary for metal coating.

Mining & Submarine Cables: Powers heavy industrial equipment requiring dedicated DC sources.

Note: All our battery chargers come with a 2-year warranty. Spare parts are guaranteed for 10 years. Optional special products can be produced upon request.
