ENERJİTEM 3 Kva Single Phase Isolation Transformer, 220 Vac Input / 120 Vac Output
A 3 kVA Single Phase Isolation Transformer (220 Vac Input / 120 Vac Output) is a dual-purpose electrical device that steps down voltage while providing complete galvanic isolation.
Unlike the previous 36V and 48V safety models, this transformer steps down 220 Vac to 120 Vac, which is the standard utility voltage for North America and Japan. It isolates the output circuit from the input power grid using a 1:1 magnetic coupling across an insulation barrier, making it the ultimate tool for running imported electronics safely and without electrical noise.
This specific voltage configuration is widely used for regional voltage conversion, ground loop elimination, and sensitive electronic isolation.
1. Running North American Equipment in 220V Regions
- Imported Appliances: Powers 120V household appliances, power tools, or kitchen equipment imported from the US/Canada in regions with 220V–240V grids (e.g., Europe, Asia, South America).
- Industrial Machinery: Adapts American-made factory control panels, server racks, or lab instruments to run on standard 220V industrial mains.
2. Clean Power for High-End Audio and Video Studios
- Ground Loop Elimination: Breaks physical ground connections between audio components to eliminate the 50/60 Hz "hum" and buzz in recording studios.
- Noise Filtering: Blocks high-frequency electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) from polluting sensitive amplifiers and mixing consoles.
3. Medical and Diagnostic Laboratories
- Patient and Operator Safety: Provides an isolated 120V supply to critical medical diagnostic monitors, preventing tiny leakage currents from shocking patients.
- Test Bench Isolation: Allows electronics repair technicians to safely connect oscilloscopes and test gear to live 120V equipment without creating short circuits through the main building ground.
4. Marine and Recreational Vehicles (RVs)
- Shore Power Isolation: Connects American yachts or RVs to 220V foreign shore power systems, while protecting the onboard hull or chassis from galvanic corrosion caused by shore grounding.
